Fagan Sheffield Bowie Knife With Pressed Horn Hilt & Scabbard. Sn 18132 - 18132

This is an attractive early 20th Century bowie. The 10 ¾” long, bowie has a solid pressed horn hilt. It has a brass finger guard with ball finials and 6 ¼” single edged, bowie blade. On one side it is marked at the ricasso ‘’Fagan Sheffield Made’ (most likely W.H.Fagan and Son Sheffield). The reverse has ‘Sheffield England’ and etched foliate decoration. Its original brown leather scabbard has an integral belt loop and retaining strap with press stud fastener. All leather & stitching of the scabbard are intact.
