~ Fine Quality Circa 1550 Japanese Wakizashi With Two Hole Tang And Black Lacquered Scabbard ~

The tsuba is of black lacquered iron with a floral motif. The menuki are of gold and black lacquer. The black braid binding of the hilt is over a black sharkskin grip. It is fitted in a black lacquered scabbard. The unsigned tang is pierced with two holes.

~ Condition ~

The blade is in tidy order with a clear hamon. The scabbard has a few minor dings.

~ Dimensions ~

The Wakizashi is 72 cm (28.5 inches) in total length and has a 53 cm (21 inches) blade.
