The book is a comprehensive study of German cuff bands from the Gibraltar one dating back to 1794 and covers all known W.W.2 ones including Bundeswehr and D.D.R versions from the post-war period. The book also has a very informative section of post war reproductions which is essential for collector. The book is profusely illustrated in colour and black and white showing both the cuff bands themselves and also contemporary photographs of them in wear.
