This is an original WW1 German brown leather holster for a small framed automatic pistol. Small automatic pistols were often carried by German officers in the First World War and there were many different small automatic pistols. The holster has a single belt loop and the flap is held by a leather tab onto a brass stud, the brass stud is embossed in the Germanic style of 3 stars over and oak leaf wreath.
