Weight 14 lds Barrel length 48 inches overall length 66 inches. Reputed to be the size and weight limit for a shoulder fired shotgun. The gun is complete with its original ramrod with brass threaded end cap. The stock is in good condition compatible with age and use no cracks or damage. Steel batt plate with extended upper tang, the barrel has a brass bead foresight surface is a washed damascus brown. The bore appears to be similar. The highlight of this gun is the beautiful engraved sunburst cartouche on the top of the breach. The Hammer action is named P Hast the action plate is engraved with wildfowl and foliage. The large Dolphin hammer is engraved. The cocking and firing actions are fine. A unique hard to find big bore muzzle loading shotgun for a collection.
