INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a WW1 British, No 85 time and percussion fuze used on the 13, 18 and 60 pounder field guns. This fuse is stamped round its circumference B.S.C. (Bethlehem Steel Company) S in a square No85 LOT IIII 1915 (date). The main body of the fuze is brass and is stamped in scales to 21 Above this are two powder time rings. This fuse is in excellent condition, the top screws off and the time rings can be removed.
