INERT DEACTIVATED. German flare pistols were widely used by all the German forces, Army Luftwaffe and the Kriegsmarine in WW2. The flare cartridges were loaded with different colours and colour combinations to use as a signal. The cartridge cases were usually made of aluminium with a percussion primer. Some of the cartridge case rims were serrated for use in night time. These flare cartridge cases are empty and are wartime dated. The cartridges cases are made by various makers. Some of the end covers are in place in the cases. The cartridge cases are as per the photographs and are priced individually at £45 each. The price includes U.K. delivery and no licence is required to possess inert rounds in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display. The price is per cartridge. O 1868
