INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a scarce WW2 era, unfired German instruction / drill, brass Junghans clockwork ZtZ.S/60 time fuze. The fuze has a Junghans clockwork mechanism and is graduated to 60 seconds as opposed to the Zt.Z.S/30 30 second running time fuze. The fuze is also fitted with a percussion graze element. The all brass fuze is very heavy and is stamped round its circumference Zt.Z.S/60* a monogram Rh. S R (struck out) O waffenampt 85. Also 8c over 9c. the top part of the brass fuze also has two struck out crosses stamped on it. This clockwork time and percussion fuze was used on the Geb.G.36 7.5cm mountain gun, F.K.16n.A 7.5cm field gun, I.F.H. 167 18 10.5cm howitzers, 10cm K 17 10.5cm field guns s.10cm K.18 10.5cm medium gun, ig.s.F.H. 13 15cm howitzer and the s.F.H. 18 15cm howitzer.
