INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original German 1940 dated No 28B2 bomb fuse, safety cap and is complete with its original bakelite transit container. This fuse is an electrical impact fuse. The fuse is mainly of alloy construction with steel screws locating pin. The fuse has two insulated plungers at the top. There are three steel slotted head assembly screws holding the top on and a steel location pin at the side to orient it with the bomb casing. The body retains some of its original blackened finish and the base is screwed for the gain. The fuse is stamped at the top EIAZ 28 (within a circle) B2 AA 1940 (1940 date) waffenampt 56 . The alloy press on safety cap is stamped Kappeu.Dichtungsring vor beladen entfernen.
