INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original German 1941 dated No 55 bomb fuse, safety cap and is complete with its original bakelite transit container. This fuse is an electrical impact fuse. The fuse has an alloy top and a steel casing with a bakelite base to hold the gaine. The fuse has two insulated plungers at the top. There is a steel location pin at the side to orient the fuse with the bomb casing. The fuse is stamped at the top EIAZ 55 (within a circle) bl (Radio H. Mende u. Co., Dresden) 41 (1941 date) 22d waffenampt 107 . The alloy press on safety cap is stamped Kappeu. Dichtungsring vor beladen entfernen.
