INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original German 1942 dated No 57 bomb fuse, safety cap and is complete with its original 1941 dated bakelite transit container. This fuse is an electrical impact fuse. The fuse and protective cap have a sand painted top and is mainly of alloy construction with steel screws locating pin. The fuse has two insulated plungers at the top. There are three steel slotted head assembly screws holding the top on and a steel location pin at the side to orient it with the bomb casing. The body retains some of its original blackened finish and the base is screwed for the gain. The fuse is stamped at the top EIAZ 57 (within a circle) A edr (Sachsenwerk Licht u.
