Pump action Ithaca gun Co. 12 gauge.

Factory Parkerised Model 37 with a 24 inch barrel.restricted to 3 shot (2+1 capacity) so can be purchased on a shotgun certificate.

Used in World War II, the Korean War, and especially the Vietnam War. It was particularly favored by U.S. special forces in Vietnam for close-quarters combat in jungle environments. The Ithaca 37's ability to "slam-fire"(fire as fast as the action can be pumped while the trigger is depressed) also made it a popular choice for close-quarters combat were used by military and police as riot guns. The 37 has a bottom ejection system through the loading port to seal the mechanism and avoid exposure to dust, dirt and water and great for left or right handling.can be seen used in films such as Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese in terminator and officer Stansfield in the film Leon.

Nice parkerised example made in 1984 with the slam-fire functionality (NOT ALL HAD THIS) nice original Ithaca, smooth action in nice condition, does have little fracture in pistol grip but been there for years.hard to see in photos.
