Izhevsk Arsenal M44 Bolt Action 7.62x54mmR (Mosin-Nagant) Rifle

1945 Izhevsk made Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine and a few other bits and bobs like ammo pouches and a new genuine oil bottle and maintenance kit.

I also have a reasonable amount of still wrapped ammo for this rifle which can be sent with the rifle if required. The amount and cost to be negotiated separately but it won't be expensive.

This has the 12" folding bayonet and is an absolute hoot to shoot although like most carbines not the most accurate thing to use at any real distance.

It does makes one hell of a muzzle flash and noise, particularly in lower lights, kick is not too bad and is actually better than my No5 but probably because of its heavier weight and construction.

Comes with the original sling etc and is ready to shoot. Bore is dull but it shoots well.

Usual Mosin Tractor like build quality :)

I have a full set of dies for making ammo for this rifle that can be included at extra cost if required, again not expensive compared to new and are new as I am still using the plentiful original ammo I bought some years ago and not started reloading yet for this calibre.

The nitty gritty

I am located in Inverness so while personal collection is absolutely fine once bona fides have been checked (ie you have an FAC and not just a tyre kicker) it is more likely that this will need to be a RFD to RFD transfer. This cost for the RFD transfer and the postage to your RFD is INCLUDED in the price shown, personal collection will have a discount applied to the shown price allowing for me not having to pay this cost.

Payment is either cash on collection or Bank Transfer as appropriate.
