A good .410 cal bolt action shotgun by J Gaucher.* Serial number 68360 (circa 1965). 25.5 smoothbore barrel (good bore) with 2" chamber and bored at approximately 1/2 choke.
Birmingham proof marks and makers name signed on barrel:
'La Manufacture Stephanoise d'Armes J.Gaucher'*
Founded in 1834 and recognized for their garden shotguns and rifles. J Gaucher ceased trading in the 1930's and is now associated with Bretton Goucher.
