In the James Bond Movie franchise the Walther PPK quickly became 007’s unmistakable cinematic identity and at some point a PPK has been used by most actors to play 007. In the 1950s, Walther produced the PPK-L, which was a light-weight variant of the PPK. The PPK-L differed from the standard, all steel PPK only in that it had an aluminium alloy frame. This is a near mint boxed German Walther PPK-L semi-auto pistol in 7.65mm. It has all of its original blue finish and correct lightweight alloy frame. It's brown plastic Walther banner grips are undamaged. The left side of the pistol's slide is stamped with the Walther banner and 'Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do Modell PPK-L-Kal. 7.65 mm'. The weapon is stamped with a number of proof/inspection marks. It is stamped with serial number '506439' on the right side of the frame. The pistol is fitted with lanyard bar and complete with magazine stamped with the Walther Banner and calibre detail. Deactivated to UK specification in 2010 the pistol cocks and dry fires in both single & double action and the magazine can be removed. The pistol comes with original Walther banner cardboard retail box, with removeable lid. The price includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery. Sn 23820
