JP Sauer and Sohn K98 Bolt Action 7.92x57mm Mauser Rifle

1938 dated Mauser K98. S/147 maker code manufactured by JP Sauer & Sohn. One of the less common manufacturers.

It has a mixture of Weimar and Waffenampt acceptance stamps.

No signs of being a Russian capture.

Stock has a Heer (army) stamp.

When I tried to trace this gun years ago it showed the serial number as being in a batch issued the Wehrmacht.

All metal work is in lovely condition and has a rich shine to it and lovely patina.

Wood work is in nice condition also.

Overall a beautiful example of a pre war K98 as can be seen from the photos.

It strips, cocks and dry fires.

Comes with 5 intert rounds.
