The barrel and receiver are clearly Afghan, but many of the parts appear to have been replaced with genuine items at some point, and the whole is in superb condition, including the rifling which is crisp and clear, and has a lovely patina, with copious markings throughout.
This rifle has the smaller cocking indicator, carbine forend, butt and forend sling swivels and a sword bayonet lug on the front band.
The action works crisply, cocks and dry fires. The rifle also comes with a single Inert Deactivated Round Of Kynoch .577/.450 Ammunition.
NB. As an antique obsolete calibre rifle no licence is required to own this rifle in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display.
