Alcoso ( Alex Coppel Solingen) along with other manufacturer's produced the 1935 pattern Dagger for issue to German Army Officers. Unlike other manufacturers Alcoso Daggers were made with parts that were not interchangeable with other Daggers of the same pattern. This is an excellent, original, Alcoso, 1935 pattern German Army Officer's Dagger and Scabbard. This beautiful Dagger has all of it's original Alcoso parts. It has an excellent clean blade and the ricasso is crisply stamped with the 'Alcoso Solingen' name and 'ACS with Scales' logo. It has a distinctive 'Eagle with Swastika' design cross guard and ivory white 'phenol resin' grip with ornate foiate/oak leaf decorated, hilt mount and pommel. The Dagger is complete with original scabbard which is decorated with a 'hammered' design and 2 hanging ring mounts with matching foliate decoration.
