An original Austrian Late 19th Century/ Early 20th Century Fireman's Helmet With Liner & Chin Strap. The steel helmet has most of it's original black paint and original red paint headband. It has a brass rim and Lion's head bosses. The top of the helmet has a large combe. The helmet has 2 ventilation holes either side of the combe. The front of the helmet has a number '1' plate secured by wire on the inside of the helmet. The interior of the helmet has it's original green paint and brown leather sweatband liner.
