Andrew Barrett & Sons were recorded as working at various London addresses including 63 & 64 Piccadilly, and are recorded in the 1865 directory (see page 20 of the London Knife Book by Flook). This is a nice original, English, London made Officer’s/ Horseman's Folding Knife by A. Barrett & Sons 63 & 64 Piccadilly. It has a large 3 ½” blade, 2 smaller blades, one with thumb spur, hook, shotgun cartridge removal tool, cork screw (tip absent) and gouge/ stone remover. It also has its two removable rein repairing studs. The blades are stamped by the manufacturer 'Barrett & Sons' & ‘63 & 64 Piccadilly’. The knife measures 5” in length when closed. It has German Silver scales one signed by the maker, screwdriver end and lanyard shackle. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 23631 (folding knives box workshop)
