Lee Enfield smle Bolt Action .303 Rifle

This is a very nice clean Lee Enfield SMLE produced in 1915 by BSA. I have fitted a Pecar Berlin X4 scope onto this rifle using a clever system of locking rings requiring little adaptation to the original gun. Despite the scope not being of the correct period for the rifle, it looks excellent, and not at all out of place. It is unusual to find an SMLE that looks as good as this one with a scope that passes for anything other than ridiculously modern.

I have personally shot this rifle and it is very accurate, grouping well. The rifle was rebarreled at some point in its history (probably in the 1950s). It has the magazine cut off and the rear volley sight as per an early World War I rifle. The forend and upper hand guards are in excellent condition. The buttstock carries some marks and dings appropriate to its age. 303 ammunition is also readily available through my RFD if needed as are reloading supplies and consumables.
