This is not a deactivated weapon but a firearms quality, factory produced all-metal replica. Widely regarded to be the best AR15 replicas produced a sought after by collectors and re-enactors. The model has adjustable sights and is completely strippable just like the real thing. It has fully moving parts and can have the effect of ‘firing’ full auto, ejecting dummy cases as it does. Unlike the prototype the model works on a direct blowback principle, utilising a choke in the barrel.

Dating from circa 1982, the gun has all the correct Colt markings, and comes with its original retail box . Also included are a number of accessories and dummy rounds used for film work.
