**MATCHING NUMBERS**Cold War Era 1956 Dated Polish / Poland Army Special Forces Fighting Knife & Scabbard. Sn 23755 - 23755

An original 1956 dated Polish Army Special Forces Fighting knife and matching numbers scabbard. The knife has a clean polished steel drop point blade which measures 6 ¼” (10 ¾” overall) . The blade is crisply stamped at the ricasso on one side with ’11 within roundel’ & 1956 date and the reverse has AO7129 and faint inspection mark. The knife has an undamaged wood grip secured by two brass rivets. The wood is impressed with faint inspection mark (illustrated). The pommel is a black metal cap secured with a rivet. The knife has a re-curving finger guard and leather washer. The scabbard is black metal and is stamped with matching number AO7129. The scabbard has the correct leather belt hanger / frog which has a belt loop and retaining strap with lug fastener. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 23755 (fighting / hunting knives box)
