A nice, original, WW2, Model 1884/98 German bayonet for the Mauser K98 Rifle. The blade is stamped on the ricasso, "8244 A.J." on one side and on the other with "E Pack & S". The crossguard is also stamped with "2900" and this number is repeated on the frog stud. The bayonet's blackened blade is in excellent condition. The grips are grooved Bakelite and are undamaged. The hilt of the bayonet is Waffenampt on the press stud. It is complete with it's black metal scabbard, stamped near to the throat '2828' and on the other side "Dorkopp 40". The scabbard has no denting. All parts of both the bayonet and scabbard are heavily blued. Price includes UK delivery. Bayo 196
