The Mosin–Nagant is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine-fed, military rifle, developed by the Imperial Russian Army in 1882–91, and used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire. Imperial Tula Arms Plant is a Russian weapons manufacturer founded by Tsar Peter I of Russia in 1712 in Tula, Tula Oblast as Tula Arsenal. The rifle was made at the Tula Arsenal in 1898 is in excellent condition, retaining all of the original features of the M91 Mosin Nagant rifle. The rifle carries the Imperial crest as will as the Tula Arsenal stamps on top of the breech together with the serial number 192094. The rifle retains some of its original blued finish and the woodwork only bears minor marks from service use. The rifle is fitted with the correct ear sight unshrouded fore sight and knurled cleaning rod. The bolt has a nice bright surface finish. As with the M91 Nagant, sling swivels are fitted as opposed to the later versions where the woodwork was slotted for the sling. Deactivated to UK specification in 2009 the magazine plate opens, the rifle cocks & dry fires and the bolt can be removed.
