This is an original Nazi Verkehrsaufsicht armband. These armbands were worn by Nazi Police and Para Military personnel when performing traffic control. The armband is made of vivid high visibility orange cotton with bold black lettering ‘Verkehrs-Aufsicht’. The armband has a stitched hem and is undamaged with just staining consistent with age.
