Pedersoli Springfield Trapdoor Carbine Single Shot .45 Rifle

Very Good Condition, Rarely available on the used market,

Now designated by the manufacturer as a S900 this rifle is very well presented and has hardly been used by the current owner for the past 2 years or so,

The blacking on the 22" barrel is in very good condition, showing a very deep and unblemished colour. The internal bore is bright, clean and unblemished and has 3 groove rifling.

The breech block is in very good condition and features a coloured case hardened finish. The breech closing assembly and latch is firm and positive, The finish on the hammer is unblemished and the bolt face shows no pitting. The hammer cocks in 3 stages and the spring is very strong.

The rear sight assembly is new and the front blade sight is fitted.

The stock has suffered from some unfortunate cabinet marks and just a little TLC would restore it.

A saddle ring is fitted on the left side and the metal butt plate is fitted. All visible screw-heads are in good condition.
