The BSA Scorpion Air Pistol was an air pistol made in Birmingham UK by Gamo subsidiary BSA Guns (UK) Limited and was first produced in 1973. It is a spring powered, single-shot break action weapon available in .177 (4.5 mm) and .22 (5.5 mm) calibres. The serial number of this near mint Scorpion is stamped on the underside of the barrel block and is illustrated but indistinct. It has the correct scope rail, which was milled into the top of the cylinder allowing the user to add a special telescopic sight with a longer eye relief. Between the scope rails it is crisply stamped with the BSA Scorpion name highlighted in Gold. It has an adjustable rear sight & shrouded blade foresight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with The BSA guns logo and name with .22 Calibre detail. It has an 8" barrel and is a large 15 ¼” overall. It's black plastic body and metal work are in very good condition. The pistol cocks and fires as it should. Included is the pistol's original cocking lever which fits onto the end of the barrel and greatly assists the cocking of this powerful Air Pistol. The price includes UK delivery.
