This is an attractive pre WW1 George V era sword stick. The Curved polished horn and decorated bone handle has sterling silver hallmarked fittings. The silver hallmarks are for Birmingham 1911-1912 and has the maker / retailer mark ‘H&F’ of Hall & Fitzgerald recorded as merchants of tobacconists' fancy goods” Bristol. The hilt has a metal press button locking catch which holds the sword firmly in its scabbard. It has a 27 ¼” flat diamond section blade and measures 32 ¼” overall length. The blade has natural aged staining consistent with age. The sword stick measures 34 ¼” overall in its scabbard. The ebonised lacquered wood scabbard has a silver collar with matching hallmarks & brass end cap. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 23484:27
