This is a West German Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5-6x42 variable power first focal plane scope. Since 1904, ZEISS has been a pioneer in riflescopes for hunting. It has secured its pole position thanks to innovations and extremely high-quality standards. Milestones achieved by the company include two hunting riflescopes in 1922 with variable magnification Scope measures 12 3/8" in length with a 30mm main tube with a permanent reverse dovetail mount along the bottom. Metal surfaces show some minor age-related marks. The optics remain bright and clear and feature a first focal plane German 3 Post style reticle.
