MK III & IIIa flying goggles represented a radical and short lived yet crucial departure from conventional AM goggle designs. The goggles were fitted with curved celluloid plastic lenses (see page 31 of Luftwaffe Vs RAF by Prodger). Our example of the MK III goggles is fitted with the correct part elasticated , part leather strap with buckle. These goggles are in excellent condition. The goggles are clean & undamaged. The leather starp is AM marked and has model designation and stores codes (illustrated). The display head illustrated in the images is not included. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15339:21
