INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a Japanese WWII Type 2 1/3 Kg hollow charge air dropped HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) cluster bomb used by the Japanese Air Force during WWII. The bomb consists of a steel hollow charge warhead that retains much of its original black paint with a 10mm wide yellow band round its circumference. The mid-section is made of alloy tubing and with a pressed steel hexagonal fin assembly at the rear. There is a brass arming vane in this lower section.
