**RARE**WW1 1916 German Holste & Co Munchen Leather Holster Rig For 7.63mm Calibre C96 & Model 712, Schnellfeuer ( Rapid Fire) 'Broom Handle' Mauser Pistols & Period Spanish Astra & Chinese Variants. Sn 23671 - 23671

The Mauser, Model 712, Schnellfeuer ( Rapid Fire) was manufactured by Mauser Werke in Germany from 1932 to 1938 (see page 317 of Axis Pistols Vol 2 By Still). It was the fully automatic version of the model 1896 (C96). Inter war large numbers of broom handle Mausers were ordered by Governments of many countries including China. This original German made WW1 dated holster for Broomhandle pistols is in very good condition. The holster has the correct magazine pouch with flap cover (small tear to one edge of the flap) and stud fastener to the front. One side of the rig is slotted for its original wood handled steel cleaning rod. The tool which is absent would be held in place by the leather stap with stud fastener on the side of the holster. The rig also has a leather retaining strap secured by a stud fastener that fits over the top of the wood stock / holster (stock absent). The rear of the holster has 2 belt loops. Between the belt loops the leather is impressed with 1916 date and maker detail ‘Holste & Co Munchen’. The price for this rare WW1 holster rig includes UK delivery.
