A very rare and interesting Polish or Hungarian war mace, 16th century. Known as a Budzogan flanged steel mace. Extensively used during the 16th and early 17th centuries and following a much older design going back to the Mongols. Length approx 22 inches high. This mace is in really good condition. Fitted with a flanged head comprising 12 segments. The leather wrapped iron grip appears to be completely original. A very rare and nice quality war mace. Ref 3002. Read more
