This was manufactured by FEG Budapest, Hungary between 1957 and 1963 and imported into the UK and sold under the Relum brand.
This is an underlever tap loading pistol similar to the rifles manufactured by the same company. It has a detachable skeleton wire shoulder stock which fits into two holes on the wooden grips turning the pistol into an early ‘Carbine’ style Pistol.
This is pistol is in amazing condition and looks to had very little use. The blueing is in excellent order as is the wooden stock.
It comes with its incredibly rare original packaging consisting of an outer cardboard box. Within the pistol is further boxed in its own packaging. It’s complete with its wire shoulder stock how many of these went missing over time ?
Included is the original warranty and instructions leaflet with the address of the Importers Relum Ltd, Ossultan Street, London NW1 now long gone.
A fantastic example of a little seen Relum Air Pistol we’ve never seen one before and we think very few if any boxed ones are still in existence. A great collectable air pistol
