This is a WW2 dated British Army in India Lee Enfield Short Magazine SMLE No.1 MK III .303 Calibre Rifle & Sling. The rifle has excellent all original woodwork throughout. The wood is numbered 397. The grip strap is marked RFI (Royal Ordnance Factory Ishapore) above 1945 date. It is serial number ‘35750R’. The rifle is complete with stripper clip loading bridge, winged fore sight and adjustable rear sight with wing protectors. It has a brass butt plate with trap and webbing sling. Deactivated to UK specification in 1998 the rifle cocks and dry fires & the magazine can be removed. The price includes deactivation certificate & UK delivery, Sn 20067:28
