Scandinavian Sami Knife and Leather Sheath. ED 2563. Hunting Knive

This is a very nice ‘Sami’ knife which means big knife in Finnish. This example has a 6” blade with a fuller on one side and marked Holger Andreasen A.S. to the other. There is a brass ferrule and a wooden handle which is usually birch for better grip in snowy conditions. The scabbard is typically Scandinavian made of leather with an integral belt loop.
