Original Schmidt–Rubin Model 1889 Swiss service rifle, a classic straight-pull bolt action design and one of the earliest rifles of its type adopted by the Swiss military.

Chambered in the original 7.5×53.5mm Swiss (GP90) obsolete calibre, this example is a superb piece of 19th-century military engineering and an important part of Swiss service rifle history.

The rifle features the distinctive straight-pull action, full-length military stock and original iron sights with cover. It remains in good overall condition for its age, showing honest service wear consistent with a rifle of this period, with clear markings and solid mechanical function.
