This is an excellent original and complete WW2 Japanese NCO's Katana and scabbard. It has the typical brown painted aluminium cast handle with lanyard ring and fully functioning scabbard retaining clip. The handle retains much of it's original colour & is stamped with Kokura Arsenal mark & other Inspection marks. It's excellent clean, fullered, 27 1/2" blade is crisply stamped '46448' and with inspection mark. It is complete with its original scabbard with a single hanging loop. The scabbard is excellent with no dents and retains much of it's original brown paint finish. The throat of the scabbard is stamped with matching serial number. This piece is clearly a bring back, surrendered or recovered from the battlefield. The price includes UK delivery
