Tranter 1st Pattern Dual Trigger .45 .45 Revolver

Built on William Tranters 1853 patent, this is the 1st model revolver utilizing Tranters "dual trigger" mechanism, as per the loading ram being screwed to the left side of the frame. Popular as a private purchase side arm with British Officers of the 1850s and 60s, this particular revolver comes in a green felt lined walnut case complete with key cased with a small angled powder flask and funnel, "Tranter Patent" bullet mold, cleaning rod, nipple key, turn screw, oil bottle and original Tranter bullet tin.
