This is an excellent condition No5 bayonet made by Wilkinsons and is marked to the ripasso with their trademark WSC and a wartime code ‘S297’. The other side of the blade carries a broad arrow and a faint inspection mark. The blade is in near perfect condition, the grips are made of undamaged wood and are held in place by 2 screw bots. The muzzle ring and pommel are blackened. The scabbard is the No5 Mk1 Version *showing service wear* with a steel mouthpiece and is contained in a ’37 pattern green webbing frog.
