The Greener air rifle was made in the 1930’s by W.W. Greener, Birmingham (see page 132 of Hiller's book Collector's Guide To Air Rifles). Examples in this near mint condition are very rare to find. It has all original metal & woodwork. The metal has all of its original factory blue finish. The stock all original wood is excellent and undamaged. The stock has a blued steel butt plate. The weapon loads & fires with a strong spring action. It has a 19 ¾” barrel and measures 43 ½” overall length. The left side of the barrel block is stamped '.22 Bore' together with number ‘832’ & oil indicator ‘OIL’. The top of the cylinder is crisply signed 'W.W. Greener Birmingham'. It has a ramp block & blade foresight, adjustable dial rear sight and correct large ‘cam’ type barrel locking lever. The price for this very rare air rifle includes UK delivery. Sn 23602
