I acquired this gun from a gentleman many years ago whose grandfather was a pig farmer, when volunteers were required to join the Home Guard in the 1940’s he joined and this was his initial personal weapon on joining.
The gun can be cocked and dry fired, it has been fully de-activated and therefore cannot fire live ammunition, the firing pin has been removed and the barrel has been sympathetically blocked only visible when the stock is removed.
The gun comes complete with one inert 9mm paper cartridge filled with sand to maintain shape.
The overall condition is good for its age, fully working, some of the metal work has pitting as seen in the photo’s, and at some time one side of the stock/butt has got slightly stained.
Please note this gun does not include a deactivation certificate, it has been fully deactivated and will not fire live ammunition.
