This is a nice, original British Enfield Tower percussion pistol. It has all original wood work with regulation pattern brass fittings, including trigger guard with extended tang & butt plate with fixed steel military lanyard ring, brass ram rod flute and fore stock plate. It has a heavy military hammer & captive steel ram rod. It measures 15 ¾” overall with an 9” round steel barrel. The smooth bore is clean. The barrel has English black powder proofs. The barrel and butt plate have number ‘2’ inspection marks. The action works crisply. The action plate is signed with the Enfield ‘Tower’ mark, Crown VR (Victoria Regina), 1858 date and WD arrow inspection mark. The price includes UK delivery.
