This is a good British made Martini action sporting rifle. The metal work is undamaged and retains its original blue finish in very good condition. The wood work is un-damaged & all original. It has a chequered panel wrist and fore stock. It has a chequered steel butt plate & grooved trigger as found on MK 1 Martini Henry service rifles. The 29 ½” barrel has a clean rifled bore with well defined multi groove rifling and the rifle measures 46” overall length. The barrel has Birmingham proofs. The rifle has a blade foresight & graduated flip up rear sight which has ‘WD with Broad Arrow’ mark. The rifle’s cocking & firing actions work. The rifle comes with a single inert deactivated Kynoch brass cased lead bullet round of .577 x.450 ammunition. The price for this sporting Martini includes UK delivery.
