Production of the Webley Hurricane began in 1977. The pistols replaced the Webley Premier MK II (see page 238 of The Collector’s Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). This is an excellent example of the Webley Hurricane .22 calibre Air Pistol. The Pistol has an over lever action which has a strong spring and fires crisply. The pistol retains all of its original black finish. The frame is marked with the Webley manufacturer’s detail and 'Hurricane' model. It has contoured target grips, safety catch, adjustable rear sight & blade foresight. The pistol has its original brightly coloured Black and Green coloured box with Red inlaid tray. The inside of the lid has illustrated instructions for care & use. A previous owner has wrapped the lid in clear cellophane to protect it during storage. The accessories consist of an RWS Diablo pellet tin containing a quantity of .22 calibre lead pellets, a metal target holder with pellet catcher tray & the pistol’s original allen key tool with metal Webley key ring.
