Listing this as "used" to avoid problems with nitpickers but overall it's only been lightly used in the 2.5 years I've owned it (2023 model, bought new from Crawley Surplus). As I mostly use my HW30S due to being a garden plinker, rather than serious range dayer or pest controller etc.
Tuning work carried out by Nick Simmons:
Delrin / Acetal Gliding Rings: Fitting custom synthetic (Delrin/acetal) bearing rings or buttons to the rear and front of the piston and compression tube to prevent contact with the cylinder walls.
Lightened & Short-Stroked Piston: Machining down the piston weight and adjusting stroke length for a faster lock time and reduced recoil pulse.
Action Polishing & De-burring: Thorough deburring and hand-polishing of the internal action, cylinder, and compression components.
Custom Spring & Guides: Fitting a custom-matched spring along with precision-turned spring guides and top hats to eliminate spring twang and vibration.
Transfer Port Optimization: Modifying or resizing the
transfer port air flow to match the new piston dynamics.
Upgraded Seals: Upgrading to high-performance piston and breech seals (such as Brit Seals).
Trigger Fettle: Fine-tuning and adjusting the trigger assembly (e.g., Weihrauch Rekord unit) for a clean, crisp release.
New cost:
Weihrauch HW95K - £475.00
Tuning - £244.50
Total = £719.50
