WW2 Era Nazi German Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie Solingen (WKC), Pattern German Army Officer's Dress Sword & Scabbard. Sn 14769. - 14769

This is an original WW2 period German Nazi WKC pattern German Army Officer's Sword (see page 139 of Swords Of Germany By Angolia where an identical hilt pattern is illustrated). The sword has a curved grip strap and pommel adorned with cast Oak leaves decoration. The hilt has 2 langets. One with cast Nazi National emblem' of Eagle (with short spread wings) and Swastika with wreath and the reverse langet with void shield on a field of Oak leaves. It has a knuckle bow with ornate cast oak leaves decoration. The undamaged grooved grip is gilt wire bound. The hilt retains most of its original gilding. The sword measures 36 ¾” overall and the ricasso of its clean, 32" single edged, curved, fullered blade is stamped with the WKC Solingen makers mark and Helm legend. The sword is complete with its black painted scabbard with single steel hanging ring, fixed hanging bar and shoe. The scabbard has no dents. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 14769
