Winchester 1897 PUMP Pump Action 12 Bore/gauge

This very rare 1897 pump action shotgun is in exeptional condition for its age.

The wood is excellent and the bore is clean and free of rust marks.

It is the very sort after takedown model with a 25 inch barrel and exposed hammer.

This model of shotgun can be slam fired and it is possible to fire 3 shots in 1 second.

It is an early model with the 3 screws in the fore-end and can be loaded with 5 in the tube and 1 in the chamber.

The action is smooth and ejection is positive.

We recently service and slicked this gun up for the previous owner, who has sadly died.

Do not delay as these guns only come for sale very rarely.

They can only appreciate in value if looked after.

Ideal for all forms of shooting and are much treasured for Cowboy action shooting
