This is an original and rare November 1938 dated empty wooden ammunition box, originally containing 240 rounds of .455 revolver ammunition. The wooden box retains most of its original green paint. The box is complete with its original tinplate liner and has 6 original paper labels on it showing the contents of the box. The box is also stenciled in yellow K25 . 11.38 on the end with the rope carrying handle . The base of the box is stamped H 9 III. The box has its original closing pin and string which when pulled out allows the lid to slide forward and detach. . All metal fittings on the box are non -ferrous and are made of copper and brass including the split pin. The price includes UK delivery. O 1372 £275
